Overview:
The new RD-100 Rimless Designer from NIDEK is the perfect instrument for any lab processing one-of-a-kind, 3-piece mounts. It allows the operator to capture the lens image, or traced data via an integrated, high-resolution camera. The large 10.5” LCD colour, touch screen lends to an incredibly user-friendly operation for locating the drill coordinates. The RD-100 also allows the operator to individually enlarge the view of each hole for pin-point accuracy. It has an internal infinite storage capacity to a compact flash card and is VCA compliant. Its can be linked to the ICE-9000 Blocker and to the ME1000 Rimless Edger. Its has the capacity of storing thousands of frames and coordinates depending on the size of the flash card.

Simple Operation

STEP.1 Measure the lens outline
Color the edge of a demo lens with a felt-tip marker, and place the lens on the RD-100.
The RD-100 automatically and accurately reads the lens outline.

STEP.2 Set hole positions and diameters
Roughly set hole positions on the LCD touch panel using the projected demo lens. By pressing "OK", each hole image will be enlarged for precise diameter setting.

STEP.3 Check the data
Input data will be displayed for review. Data can be saved as a pattern, and transferred to the NIDEK ME-1000 and AES-1500 for lab processing
