Overview :
The Ice 900 is one of the most advanced CAD lens blockers available. This highly intuitive unit features the Integrated Shape Imager (ISI), which photographs any demo lens, including those for rimless drill mounts, and identifies hole position. The ISI function is supported by a “Wizard Tutorial” directly on the screen of the unit, including computer generated renditions of its operation
In addition, the unit has an Advanced Shape Editor function which edits shapes in a completely customizable fashion. The data management feature allows for storing, searching, and recalling of traced data. Moreover, the compact unit enables the operator to send data to a lab through an internet porthole or, in lab environment, directly to an LMS.
The all new motorized lens blocking process takes only two seconds, increasing productivity. A unique Tilt Display allows the LCD operation screen to be viewed from 27° to 60° from vertical, making it ergonomically friendly whether sitting or standing.
After setting up the layout and clamping the lens, the display changes to the blocking display automatically. A color-coded “aero-nautical” system virtually eliminates operator error. Layout and grinding conditions are easily entered by the use of the “quick jog” dials. The operator also has the ability to enter these conditions using the touch screen.
