OCULUS Pentacam Scheimpflug Camera (MED0945)

The Oculus Pentacam is the first 3D Scheimpflug camera in the world. In one measurement it takes a Scheimplfug Image, 3D Chamber Analysis, Cataract Analysis, Pachymetry reading and Corneal Topography.
Features and Benefits
Principle of measurement - captures Scheimpflug images of the anterior eye segment through a rotating measurement. This rotating measuring process supplies pictures in three dimensions. The Pentacam is the only instrument which measures and analyses precisely the centre of the cornea.

Scheimpflug Image - Single scheimpflug images from various positions or 3D-scans of the anterior segment can be shown.
3-D Chamber Analysis – The Pentacam analyses the complete anterior segment.
Corneal Topography - Topographic analysis of the corneal front and back surfaces is based on the true elevation measurement from limbus to limbus. Comparison of pre-op and post-op topographies is easy. Both corneal surfaces can be selected for analysis in axial (sagittal) , tangential or elevation representation modes.
Pachymetry - The corneal thickness is displayed as a color image, showing the entire area from limbus to limbus.
Cataract Analysis - Lens opacification can be analysed and quantified in this mode. The high quality of the Scheimpflug image allows pre and post operative monitoring as in the case of an intraocular contact lens.
