April 2009 will see the launch of a new, unique and innovative client care package from Birmingham Optical Group. The company arguably the largest supplier of optical equipment and machinery in the UK has spent the last 12 months in detailed research and consultation to achieve this enviable position.
The new strategy will include such enticing features as guaranteed next day response times , Monday to Saturday cover, contracts with guaranteed up times and options to include Sunday and out of hours response.
Commenting on the strategy, Neil Townsend Managing Director stated “we have been monitoring in recent times the trend towards increased trading hours and the necessity to trade Monday to Saturday and for some operations indeed seven days a week and 10 hours per day. It was from this research that the new concept was born and in our mind the ability of a key equipment supplier has to be based on more than simply the technology of the product supplied.”

The company has just taken delivery of the 1000th Nidek AFC-210 retinal camera and will also launch the latest generation Nidek SOCT in Birmingham and part of the rolling business plan is to ensure that our client care packages match the pedigree of the Nidek instruments and machinery we supply. “
